MULTIPLYING EFFORTS
"Unfit for inductive charges. Power limited to the use of 500w incandescent lighting. 400w fluorescent and low-consumption lighting. Portable machinery up to 450w".
We can find these common warnings on any imported, portable electric generator, operating on a two-strokes motor, with a manual, retractile start-up. Admittedly, the features of such devices in addition to their usually affordable prices surpass the expectations of many experts on the electricity field. Suited for the use of a satellite tv or even a home computer and all its peripherals, it allows inhabitants of the most remote locations to access the marvellous world of modern technology.
What is the problem, then?.
However useful, the device remains to be an electric generator and, as such, unable to provide uninterrupted service.
Everytime our remotely located user needs to turn on his tv or his computer, he will be forced to turn on the generator engine first. The intermittence of the supply, although willful, is inconvenient. Furthermore, to leave the generator on 24 hours is not always the best option. The simplest calculation will show us that after 42 days the generator would have reached 1,000 hours of operation, commonly the limit of any warranty coverage. Over and above this, we would also have the additional inconvenience of not having enough power available to do the laundry, iron press a shirt or use a blowdrier. To sum up, despite being an overall excellent product, the above generator suffers from two remarkable flaws - although in all fairness the service intermittence is common to all electric generators, regardless of their capacity-:

1.Limited power.
2.Intermittence of service.
Let us analyze what happens if the power is increased. There are several disadvantages in replacing a lower capacity electric generator for one able to work a washing machine or a water pump, a dishwasher or a compressor. Imagine that we are interested in operating a 3HP electric motor. Commonly acknowledged rules indicate that we would need 4 times that power to start the motor   up, that is 12Kva. If the actual need of such potency is only occasional, most of the times we will find ourselves watching tv or surfing the world wide web using only 8% of our available power, with the ensuing superfluous waste of fuel that entails. There are other considerations as well. The cost of a 12Kva electric generator can be as high as 11 times that of a 0.5 Kw device. Maintenance costs should not be overlooked either, since they will increase in the same proportion.  Additionally, we would also face the intermittent supply issue, just like we would with the smaller generator, which we will call G2T 950 from now on for the sake of identification only.

Let us now see what happens if we get the G2T 950 an effort multiplier partner instead...

Energy is power x time. A pump of 750w (1 HP) consumes 750 x 0.5 = 375 whour in half an hour. A 3 HP compressor (2300w) consumes 2300 x 0.25 whour in 15 minutes. A 2,000w blowdrier consumes 500 whour in the same time. None of those artefacts can be worked by our G2T 950. However, energy being power x time, if we could somehow aid our G2T 950 so that the necessary energy will be supplied for a longer period of time, we would have worked out the flaw.
For any of the above examples it will be enough to provide our low-capacity generator the opportunity to replenish the energy spent over a longer period of time. In other words, in order to replenish the energy the blowdrier spends, energy being a fourth of the artefact's power, it will be necessary to keep the generator working four times longer than the blowdrier usage. (*).
The solution will be as simple as incorporating an accumulation system to our small G2T 950. An adecuate battery system will allow us to multiply the effect as many times as necessary. Additionally, it will be imperative to incorporate also a static inverter, so that the continuous tension accumulated in the batteries can become alternate tension of 50/60 Hz, monophasic and triphasic 3 x 220 volts. Efforts multiplied...
just like our heading reads...
By coupling a MURA 2300 not only will we amplify the power of the generator over 5 times and transform monophasic tension into triphasic tension. Remarkably, we will get a system of discontinuous supply to provide uninterrupted service, without  the need of bulky, oversized devices or superfluous fuel waste. An accomplishment not to be taken lightly, since it will allow the usage of freezers, refrigerators and all sorts of automatic start artefacts that could not otherwise be activated by any electric generator on its own regardless of its power. In other words, the modest small-sized generator uncapable of working a refrigerator of 150w we previously used as an example, will be transformed into a full-sized powerful giant with such capacity that it will be able to hold its own against any generator 20 times its potency. Over and above that, sharing all the credits with its partner our MURA 2300, it will provide an uninterrupted supply.
